Throughout history, Muslim conquerors have demonstrated their hatred and disdain for all other religions by purposefully erecting mosques over some of the most sacred and hallowed places of Judaic and Christian worship.
The al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem is built on top of one of the holiest sites in Judaism, the Temple Mount. The Hagia Sofia, once the world’s largest cathedral and orthodox patriarchal basilica until its capture in 1453, was the principal mosque of Istanbul for over 450 years. During the Muslim conquest of medieval Spain, the Christian church in Cordoba was captured and converted into the central mosque of the Umayyad Caliphate. Muslims have engaged in this practice for centuries, symbolizing their victories over the infidels.
Today, in New York City, Muslim leaders are plotting to build a mega-mosque near the site of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, where over three thousand Americans were callously murdered by Islamic jihadists. The site of the Twin Towers has become the most hallowed ground in United States history since Pearl Harbor.

Could Imam Feisal A. Rauf be a moderate Muslim? Answer is a BIG NO! An Imam is who has read and believe in Quran and Sunnah (Prophetic traditions) in its entirety. Quran and Sunnah are 100% anti-women, anti-non-muslims and anti-all un-believers and 100% intolerant and violent; hence, anybody who read Quran and Sunnah can never be a moderate Muslim, period.
The real difference between Imam Anwar al- Awlaki and Imam Feisal Rauf is: Imam al-Awlaki engaged in violent jihad (like OBL’s al-Qaeda) and Imam Feisal is engaged in “Stealth Jihad”. But they both are fighting for the cause of Allah only to bring America under the fold of Islam—only religion accepted by Allah.
Before the CNN interview with Soledad O’Brien, Imam Rauf was interviewed by Hind Bashandy for Radio Hurytna in Egypt. The charlatan Imam’s double talk exposed him as a clear apologist of Islamic terrorism as you can see in the following conversation.
Hind asked the Imam, “Why Muslims hate America, and I ask the opposite question, why do Americans see us as terrorists or suspicious or they see that we are all Bin-Ladens”.
Rauf replied, “The main thing to every nation is national security. When there is a threat, the most important issue is national security, especially to the public. We also in the Muslim world, if anything happens in every country like what happened in Germany or any Muslim country, also in Egypt or any Muslim country like Saudi Arabia for example, it would be important to them of course. If something happens in Egypt for example the Copts or with religious minorities who have the same faith as the Christians in America, it makes them care, they are of the same faith. What happens from terrorist actions, it causes a national security threat, a threat to them as a community of Americans and Christians. The same with us, when Palestinians are under pressure or attacked we care as Arabs, we feel that we care, we feel attacked as Arabs and Muslims. This is natural. To any community. If something happened to the Bashandy family, aren’t you a Bashandi Hind? [Hind smiles]”
Feisal Abdul Rauf has not convinced anybody that he is a so called moderate Muslim. In his interviews with CNN’s Soledad O’Brien and also with Hind Bashandy for Radio Hurytna in Egypt—his sly oratory indicated he was slinkier than a cunning fox.
He was no sheep; he is rather a coyote in a sheep’s clothing.
The Imam brought the bogeyman of radical jihadists in his argument against moving the Ground Zero Mosque.

Did he show any indication that he deviated from his past thinking?
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is out and out a dishonest person. And, of course, he is anything but a moderate Muslim.
Truth is: Imam Rauf is a dedicated “Stealth Jihadist” who is promoting and helping Islamic jihadists agenda in the U.S.

Muslims across the U.S. and around the world are speaking out against building an Islamic center and mosque near the mass murder site at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan.
Many Muslim voices are echoing conservative critics of the Cordoba Initiative’s attempt to build the 13-story facility just 600 feet from where the twin towers of the World Trade Center once stood.
Their statements show the emptiness of a handful of Arab and Muslim Republican activists who, in a well-publicized letter defending the Ground Zero mosque, purported to speak for the interests of “the Arab and Muslim community in America.” They also eviscerate claims that critics of the project are motivated by prejudice and hatred toward Muslims.
Even before the six GOP Muslim and Arab-American activists signed the August 17 letter, Muslims in the U.S. and abroad were criticizing Imam Feisal Rauf and his $100 million Cordoba Initiative project.
Some Muslims called the mosque plan a deliberate provocation, a political gesture to thumb one’s nose at the “infidel,” and equivalent to building a Christian church where Serbian troops slaughtered 6,000 Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica, Kosovo.
“American Muslims who support the proposed mosque and Islamic center near ground zero are facing skeptics within their own faith – those who argue that the project is insensitive to Sept. 11 victims and needlessly provocative at a time when Muslims are pressing for wider acceptance in the U.S.,” the Associated Press reported.
"No mosque at Ground Zero" was the rallying cry of the day, as thousands of angry demonstrators gathered for a rally to oppose the proposed construction of a 13-story mosque just blocks away from the site of the 9/11 attacks. A palpable patriotism and zeal filled the air on Sunday afternoon, June 6th as Zucotti Park at the corner of Church and Liberty Streets in lower Manhattan was filled to capacity. Rally attendees who came from as far as Chicago and Los Angeles held signs saying, "Ground Zero is a War Memorial - No Mega Mosque here", "You Can Build a Mosque at Ground Zero - When Can We Build a Synagogue in Mecca?", "Pack Your Sharia and Get out", "Mayor Bloomberg: This Mosque Has Radical Ties - and you still approve?" Hundreds of American flags blew in the summer breeze as speakers representing every walk of life condemned the notion of a mosque being erected near the site of the former World Trade Center's twin towers.
The Cordoba Initiative, headed by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, is the chief sponsor of the project that is to be called The Cordoba House, a name that refers to the city in Spain which, in the Middle Ages, was a center of Islamic culture and learning. Cordoba was also the seat of an Islamic caliphate in which Jews and Christians suffered under second-class dhimmi status and was the site of large-scale pogrom, perpetrated by Muslims, in the year 1011.
